Busted flat in Baton Rouge, waitin' for a train
What's Baton Rouge like? I'd like to go on a Mississippi blues/river trail one day. I might start a thread about it
I've never been.
Janice from Port Arthur, which is on the way to Baton Rouge from here ...

Although Janice didn’t write the song. That was Chris kristifferson. Janice’s version is much better though - more blues, less country.

To downplay Biden, White House directs all agencies to refer to ‘Biden-Harris Administration’ in official communications

I'm generally skeptical of the "Biden has dementia" theory, but this is interesting.

I'm trying to think of why else he would do this:
(1) He plans to retire after one term, and wants to give Harris the best chance possible to win in 2024.
(2) Harris made him agree to the terminology when she accepted the VP position. She is smart, so this is believable.
(3) Biden really just believes that we are better off with a true president-vice-president team running the country.

None of them particularly good explanations.

Last week he couldn't even remember the name of his Defense Secretary! If he does not have dementia, he has brain damage from sniffing too much hairspray.

I don't think this was Biden's decision. Harris is the one meeting foreign leaders, and the press is complaining that we haven't gone this long, with a new elected president, without the president having a press conference.

Biden himself refers to Harris as president, he did it again last week.

I voted for Barry the first time, and had buyers remorse before he ever took office.
I voted for Barry my first time too, but Johnson won.
As the joke of the time went: "They told me if I voted for Goldwater there would be a war. I voted for Goldwater and, sure enough, there was a war!"

Re Biden. There were nine Democrats in the primaries. Two I really liked. Five I would reluctantly vote for.
The two that I absolutely would vote for Satan first became the nominees.

Harris dropped out after the second(?) primary because she was at the bottom and Warren(?) made a fool out of her during the debates. Biden was at 2% when he won South Carolina (which went for Trump) and everyone else just folded!

Cheating? On election night it's neck and neck, then a week later a ton of mail in ballots are discovered 90% Biden.
I was born and raised in Richard J Daley's Chicago. I can smell the fix.

But Trump with his stupid Tweets cut his own throat. If someone had broken his fingers he would have won.
If there is mass unemployment and foreclosures by 2024, I predict Trump will return to the White House. Unless Hillary arranges a convenient accident.

But the 1% are the real rulers, not the politicians that lick their <I'll say "boots">.

The last poll in my country I gave a vote for the person who would never get a vote in my region. Then I checked the results and found that that man got only 1 vote in my region. This way I found that the poll was counted properly and I can trust it. That was not USA and this approach will not work for systems with middleware like electoral college and electors

Biden is unable to go through a press conference despite the press asking soft-ball questions.

Figureheads may change but the government doesn't.

USA is run by a Military Industrial Complex. How policies are packaged and sold to the public changes but not the ultimate goal or the policy.

Biden/Harris will be carrying Trump's immigration policies, even tougher by using proxies to create a border emergency. Or should I say the MIC will do that.

Correction, foreign policy of the US won't change. The domestic one can fluctuate depending on the talking-head, like Obama's health care, that was different, Trump's anti-immigrant stance, certainly very un-American in the classic sense of the word, and now Biden/Harris basically communist agenda, totally crazy. But foreign policy stays the same - more bombs, more droning and more sanctions for anyone not obeying to the rules of the Empire.
Did you notice the US is now restores some kind of financial support to Palestine? Weird. I think it's new administration showing that they are really not happy with Israel for supporting and helping to elect DT. Of course nothing major will ever be done to Israel, just a small slap on the wrists - "don't do it anymore, that was 4 years of hell and uncertainty for us".
