If we are in the matrix or in a simulation there will be no Aliens most likely, no reason to simulate many species across galaxy if you can have them on the Earth, for ants we are the Aliens.

What if aliens are hardcore solipsists and they see humans as reflections on a matrix wall
My opinion ^_^ may differ from yours. That's OK. Difference makes us humans, not robots.

Even if there is, interstellar space travel is either hard or economically unviable. See the Fermi paradox. If there is some other reason for ET to arrive, they will have their own agenda. That's what evolution does to species.
Yes, if ET arrives, they're here to start a war/wipe out humanity.
Too late, the douchebags in charge have already started this operation 8-)
There's another possibility. If they're going to travel such distance they're probably refugees and it's their last ditch attempt.

Whether it's war or refuge, it's outcome of desperation.

First prove to me that there is intelligent life on earth. Some clever monkeys invented the television and the internet but based on what I see there, one can't really call them intelligent.
And if one tunes in to a Senate debate, it's clear that no intelligence at all exists. As an outsider (American) I'll refrain from commenting on the UK House of Commons. I'm sure4 a Brit can do it better.

I've said it a hundred times, and I will say it again. We need to stay as quiet as possible and quit advertising our existence!
If you lack the vocabulary to hold a debate, it's easier just to lob a piece of concrete thru a store window.
